Amy's journey into the estate sales business began when she hired the online estate sales company Everything But The House (EBTH) to clear the estate of her late mother in 2015. She was so pleased with and relieved by the experience that she joined the company with an eye toward bringing that feeling to her clients. Amy was responsible for 30 plus online estate sales in 18 months, including a record-setting Palm Springs estate sale with a 1999 Rolls Royce Silver Seraph. When EBTH closed their doors in Los Angeles in April of 2018, Amy continued to get calls from Realtors and former clients asking for help with their estate sales. Seeing an obvious need in the marketplace, Amy launched Handled in August of 2018 to continue servicing these and other clients who are in need of a trusted, transparent estate sales company to
help with their downsizing needs.
For Amy, Handled is a culmination of her time at EBTH
and several past experiences:
1) Three years as associate producer / writer on the HGTV show At The Auction with Leslie Hindman, which was filmed at Sotheby's in Chicago and examined fine art, antiques, jewelry, furniture and collectibles then followed the items as they sold at a live auction. The highlight of this experience was the special episode they produced on the famous Duke and Duchess of Windsor auction at Sotheby's in New York, which told their fabled love story
through the sale of their collection.
2) Seven years as a Beverly Hills Realtor quarterbacking clients through
multiple challenging transactions with client service as her top priority.
3) Over 15 years in the TV industry managing talented and passionate personalities through
the challenging pilot development and production processes and learning first hand
that "the show must go on."
Put this all together and you have in Amy a highly creative problem solver and a patient, calm, fair, reassuring advocate during what is often an emotional time for her clients
Handled is bonded and insured.
