ABOUT AMY BYER
Amy Byer is a highly creative problem solver and a patient, calm, fair and reassuring advocate for her clients. Amy’s personal and professional experiences have armed her with a unique and perfectly aligned set of skills to serve as Handled’s founder.

Through more than 18 years in the television industry as a creative executive and producer, Amy learned the true meaning of “the show must go on.” She dove into the world of luxury antiques as an associate producer and writer on HGTV’s "At The Auction with Leslie Hindman." Filmed at Sotheby’s in Chicago, each episode examined fine art, antiques, jewelry, furniture, and collectibles then followed along as these treasures sold at a live auction. Amy recalls her favorite memory as the special they produced about the famous Duke and Duchess of Windsor auction at Sotheby's in New York, which told their fabled love story through the sale of their personal collection. Amy's love of storytelling continued at Warner Bros. TV, where over the course of six years she was part of the comedy development team behind hits like Two and a Half Men and The Big Bang Theory.

Amy’s unique experience extends into real estate, having spent seven years as a Beverly Hills Realtor with a keen focus on client service.

In 2015, a personal life event presented Amy with an unexpected opportunity. She hired the online estate sales company, Everything But The House (EBTH) to clear the estate of her late mother. The experience was transformative and she soon accepted a position with the company. Amy spearheaded more than 30 online estate sales within 18 months for EBTH -- the highlight was a record-setting Palm Springs sale featuring a 1999 Rolls Royce Silver Seraph. Amy was hooked on the thrill of executing successful sales and providing her clients with the same feeling of support and advocacy she felt throughout her own personal experience. When EBTH left Los Angeles, Realtors and former clients continued calling Amy for help and counsel. She founded Handled in July 2018 to continue the work she loves and to provide her clients with an estate sale experience where trust and transparency are at the forefront. Amy is a certified appraiser.
